The version line

How the framework has changed.

Aeviterna is versioned and built to keep changing. Each release deepens the direction rather than replacing it, and the framework versions itself the way it asks institutions to, with every change dated and owned. This is the public record, distilled. The detailed working history is kept privately, so the site carries the framework and not the record of how it was built.

v2.17July 2026

The harness round

The economic wall becomes testable in the browser. The Harness gains a third experiment, the Economic Siege, a toy trade network in which one polity's five external channels, capital, clearing, price, talent, and inputs, are clamped from outside while a matched control runs without the wall EQ–04f builds. The walled polity holds its dignity floor and recovers where the control collapses, and does so without breaching its own floor or exporting the loss to its trade partners, the in-browser form of falsifier F–14. A fuller editor opens the siege, the wall, and the model parameters; the published values ship as JSON; the same model runs offline beside the coupled-cell figure. No new organ and no new falsifier, so the count holds at thirty-three Stable of fifty-six.

v2.16July 2026

The stress-test round

The architecture's last two gaps close by testing two assumptions the framework had leaned on in silence. The Age Pyramid (EQ–08f) asks whether the care substrate survives an aging, sub-replacement membership, where a shrinking working-age cohort must supply both care and governance, and answers with a scarcity price on care and a demographic circuit-breaker that throttles participation before it crowds care out. The Definer's Seat (EQ–06g) names what sortition cannot reach, the durable faction that captures who sets the question and the options even when the seats are filled by lot, and guards the frame the way the reading seat guards the reader. Falsifiers F–15 and F–16 join the register, posters 78 and 79 the series, and the count moves to thirty-three Stable of fifty-six.

v2.15July 2026

The walls round

The architecture's last two structural silences close. The Enforcement Ladder (EQ–06f) names the five sources from which any rule binds, reputation, stakes, locks, federation, and borrowed courts, and has every load-bearing organ state its rung in a published map, the contract-law bootstrap traced from a 1915 arbitration stay to the DAO liability cases. The Economic Siege (EQ–04f) walls the five channels that killed most alternative economies with duties on organs already running, and an economic black-start drawn from Finnish and Swiss stockpile practice. Falsifiers F–13 and F–14 join the register, ratified on adoption; posters 76 and 77 join the series; the count moves to thirty-three Stable of fifty-four.

v2.14July 2026

The reflexive round

The framework turns its own instruments on the workshop that writes it. The self-pilot chosen at the G-gate is executed and published: the workshop fills the Lite template on its own operation, puts every role under a clock, and reads three signs about itself, with the honest verdict that its weakest is the absence of an outside rival. The workshop also enters the adoption tracker as its twentieth case, self-coded and never counted as independent evidence. Alongside it, three long-standing tensions in the reading seat are reconciled on the record, and the framework's own death is stated as doctrine, so the institutional mortality it asks of every body applies to Aeviterna itself.

v2.13July 2026

The front-door round

The two most-read surfaces are brought current with everything built since. The homepage's instrument showcase, which had named four, gains the Forecast Register as its fifth, so a first-time reader sees that the framework grades its own dated predictions alongside reading, running, scoring, and auditing. And the manifesto abstract, until now a purely conceptual thesis, names the concrete apparatus that has grown around it: the falsifier register, the priced balance sheet, the one-meeting on-ramp, and the live instruments.

v2.12July 2026

The instruments round

Three of the toolkit's debts are paid at once. The readiness scorer learns to share, an assessment now travels in a link and prints as a dimension-by-dimension report. The Model Charter reaches v0.9, its commonwealth trust given the three locks it was missing and its vital-signs review given the governance-overhead ledger and band owed since the balance sheet. And the charter is published as machine-readable data beside a version-history page, so any two versions can be diffed and a fork can carry its divergence as data, the fork protocol made concrete.

v2.11July 2026

The sunset-calendar round

Decaying standing gains a tool. The Sunset Calendar tracks every role's term and review date, computes whether each is in term, coming due, or lapsed, lays the reviews across the next eighteen months so the stagger is visible, and exports to a real calendar or a data file, all in the browser with no server. It runs the first mechanism of Aeviterna Lite. At the same gate the pilot was decided: the workshop adopts the Lite tier on its own operation as the first self-pilot, extending the workshop-under-its-own-law discipline, with an outside pilot held until the first external adoption. Phase G closes.

v2.10July 2026

The living-tracker round

The adoption tracker opens to the world. A stranger can now propose an organization and watch it decided in public, through a published submission template, an evidence-URL rule, a maintainer review rubric, a quarterly re-score cadence, and an adjudication log that records every case's entry. The dataset itself becomes properly legible, a flat CSV and a schema beside the versioned JSON, its twenty dimension names carried inline, and a governance cost anchor added as the tracker's leg of the affordability falsifier. The nineteen existing codes are left untouched.

v2.9July 2026

The Lite round

The on-ramp gains its first priced rung. Aeviterna Lite turns the framework's floor into something a group can adopt in a single meeting, three mechanisms drawn from the organs that do the most work for the least cost: a sunset on every role, a quarterly review of three vital signs, and an exit written before anyone needs it. It arrives as one page with a copy-in template and a price read from the balance sheet, and it gives the long-referenced Lite tier a definition at last, named in the pricing organ and the glossary.

v2.8July 2026

The register round

The workshop's forecasts become an instrument anyone can read. Six dated predictions on the vital signs, each with a resolution date, a void condition, and a Brier score, move from the working paper onto a live page that grades itself as the editions arrive. A hygiene pass runs beside it, one spelling for each named case, content-carrying colons returned to sentences, and the social cards and page headings brought level with the rest of the site.

v2.7July 2026

The load-bearing round

The architecture's two deepest gaps close together. The Commonwealth Trust gains the bootstrap ladder, how a community assembles a corpus with neither gift nor state, from member capital and patient debt through a veto lock installed at the price of incorporating a company, with the funnel named as where acquisition dies. And the transition engine gains its missing demand term, why anyone bears the stack absent a crisis, built on the strictness result and its hard secular boundary, on binding every cost to a protected value the member can see, and on entry through ties and small asks. Two falsifiers, F–11 and F–12, put both claims on the tracker.

v2.6July 2026

The balance-sheet round

The framework gains a price. A new organ, the Governance Overhead, prices the full stack at three scales in money and member-hours, inside the rounding error of the budgets it would govern, and holds the cost in a published band that fails in both directions, bloat above and starvation below. Unaffordability joins the named failure modes, and falsifier F–10 sets the ceilings. The round's deepest finding is carried as doctrine: the record's governance instruments died of constituency-poverty at trivial prices, not of cost, so the instrument layer's finance belongs at the entrenchment level.

v2.5July 2026

The workshop round

The framework's own discipline turned on the workshop that writes it. Succession now runs by fork under an open license, a dated degeneration condition is pre-registered as falsifier F–09, and the maintainers keep a public forecast register scored against the vital signs. The eight vital signs were refreshed to their current instruments.

v2.4July 2026

The hygiene round

A coherency and accuracy pass across the whole site. The standing engine's calibration was reconciled with its bands, the satellite pages were brought level with the framework, dated figures were refreshed against current sources, and the perimeter's honest residual was restored.

v2.3July 2026

The residual-sovereign round

The reading seat gained a reality anchor, a third way to halt the oversight regress by binding the framing layer to dated, scored forecasts that reality later grades. A self-gauge watches the concentration of framing power, and falsifier F–08 was registered.

v2.2July 2026

The consolidation round

Seven draft organs were promoted to stable, each earning the move with a new mechanism or fresh grounding rather than a flipped marker. The adoption tracker grew so every readiness dimension is coded by at least one real case.

v2.1July 2026

The provisioning round

The dignity floor was financed from the rents of common wealth through a chartered single-purpose trust, and the disempowerment alarm was built as a scheduled black-start drill. Monetary ecology was promoted to stable and the justice of light re-verified against the 2020s record.

v2.0July 2026

The first removal round

Five separate reader institutions were consolidated into one reading seat. The adoption tracker replaced the anecdote page, coding real organizations with decline recorded as data, and a legibility budget bounded what the system may know. The round retired as much as it added.

v1.9July 2026

Conditions, not content

The organs held open were given mechanisms: funding meaning and belonging without owning them, counting care without surveilling it, a fork protocol read from real re-merges, a capture cascade watched stage by stage, and a thin central spine held accountable.

v1.8July 2026

The plural floor

Dignity beyond a single court, a defense against the manufactured emergency, and the testable instruments brought level with the framework.

v1.7July 2026

Consent and calibration

The transition modeled as a capacity-gated cascade, membership made staged and revocable, decay half-lives calibrated per domain, and the knowledge commons operationalized.

v1.6June 2026

The deepest frontiers

Creative runs at the hardest problems: a guardian for the non-derogable core, the standing engine, a defensive-only perimeter, an organ for transformative AI, standing for nature, a transition model, and the first runnable harness.

v1.5June 2026

Eight civilizational organs

Money as a plural ecology, a thermodynamic energy floor, the care and maintenance substrate, temporal sovereignty, civilizational memory, a boundary layer, biological resilience, and reversibility and repair.

v1.42026

The architecture hardens

The cognitive immune system, polycentric federation under subsidiarity, institutional mortality, an agonistic layer for value conflict, and the commitment to bind the future without freezing it.

v1.32026

Rigor and position

The mathematical lineage beneath bounded oscillation, the established evidence behind three commitments, and a place among existing traditions with an honest red-team of the failure modes.

v1.22026

Problems worked

The research frontier turned toward mechanism: open problems worked, inventions and provocations, the movement's own metabolism, and the three organs of a civilizational architecture.

v1.12026

Beginning today

The on-ramp, how to enact the framework gradually with mechanisms that already exist, staged from personal practice to federation.

v0.9 to v1.02025 to 2026

The first articulation

The framework's first complete statement, and the mechanisms of the cognitive terraforming the arc names as its second stage.

The current release is stamped on the framework masthead. The count of stable, draft, and open sections is carried there too. Releases are archived with DOIs; 10.5281/zenodo.21434233 represents all versions and always resolves to the latest. A fork that continues this work takes a new name and states its re-merge condition, under the framework's own fork protocol.
